Field Trips
**Join us at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8th in Watertown, WI, for shopping at Dadant's and visitation to a 40-hive apiary. Experienced and knowledgeable host, Wally Nass, will guide us on a tour of his apiary and answer any questions we have. Shopping at Dadant's from 11:00 am until 11:45am. Then, we will carpool over to Wally's apiary. Guests are welcome. Dadant's address is W2763 East Gate Drive, Watertown, WI.
2013 Workshop Schedule
Event: Beginning Beekeeping Class
Date: Saturday, February 9th, 8am to 2pm or so
Location: Hemken Honey Company in Big Bend
This class will cover the basics of beekeeping and is intended for new beekeepers. We will attempt to explain what honeybee critters do, and how they do it. This is presented in an informal style, intended to fill up the newbie with honeybee information. Cost is $45. Please contact
